French Club :::
The French Club’s “raison d’être” (reason for existence) is to offer members more possibilities
to learn about French culture and, in certain cases, opportunities to speak French. Meetings are
conducted in English because of the various levels of language of our members but we encourage
students to use their French to the best of their abilities in activities such as visits to the Art
Institute of Chicago or French restaurants which lend themselves to a fuller use of the language.
