LTHS Boosters :::
Since 2001, the Booster Club has provided LTHS with the following:
- Awarded over $210,000.00 in scholarships.
- Built the Concession Stand at Bennett Field.
- A new Audio System and Scoreboard at Bennett Field.
- A Golf Cart for the North Campus Trainers.
- A new Radio Station Antennae for WLTL.
- Plasma TV monitors at both campuses that run announcements.
- Scoreboards at the North Campus Field House.
- Baseball Field Scoreboards.
- Replaced a 2nd Golf Cart at South Campus
- Upgraded the Sound System in the Reber Center
- Replaced the Gymnastics Floor Mat
- Trophy Cases for the new S.C. Field House and Pool
- Softball Field Scoreboards and Fence
- Instrument donation to the Marching Band
- Refurbished Sound/PA System at Bennett Field
- Marching Band Sound System
- Replaced Scoreboards for SC Gyms 1,2,3 & 4; NC Vaughn Gym; Wrestling & Track Portables
- 2008 returned over $50,000.00 to LT Clubs, Acitvities & Athletics
- Contributed annually to the Prom and Post Prom Committees and the Parent Community Network for Parent University
Fundraising opportunities are available to all clubs, activities and teams. Opportunities include the Gold Card Fundraiser, Pancake Breakfast, Blue Card Fundraiser, Pack The Place BBQ, and the Spring Restaurant Card. All of the fundraising done by the Boosters stays HERE at LT and goes directly back to the students and the community. No third party is profiting from us.
Boosters' are always looking for volunteers to work at the different fund raisers. This is a great way to meet other parents and to be involved in your student's school. If you are interested in volunteering please send an e-mail to ltboosters@lths.net. Booster meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm South Campus Room C-120 and are open to anyone. 2008/2009 meeting dates are also listed on the LT calendar.
