Robert "Kam" Kamerschen is a 1953 graduate of LTHS. He received bachelor's and master's degrees, both cumlaude, from Miami University, Ohio. He is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DIMAC Corporation, a firm specializing in marketing solutions through highly personalized direct mail campaigns. Prior to joining DIMAC in 1999, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ADVO, Inc., the nation's largest direct mail company. With thirty years of executive marketing experience, he has captained numerous leading industries. He was President and Chief Operating Officer of Marking Corporation of America, one of the country's leading marketing services companies. In 1979, he was Executive Vice President at Norton Simon, a prominent conglomerate, and responsible for five companies: Hunt Wesson Foods, Max Factor, Halston Enterprises, McCall's Pattern Co., and United Can. He was also President and Chief Executive Officer of Max Factor, Inc., Chanel, Inc. and Christian Dior Parfums, Inc., and he held senior marketing executive assignments at Scott Paper Company, Dunkin' Donuts, and Revlon. Generous with his business savvy and expertise, Kamerschen sits on four public, two private and three not-for-profit Boards of Directors, lectures at business schools, serves as a Regent of the University of Hartford, and has served as a trustee at Emerson College and Columbia College. Registered in the Who's Who in America for numerous years, he received the Postmaster General's "Partnership For Progress" award in 1992 and 1997. He also received the Corporate Executive Award from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
